Berg Helical Gears
WM Berg manufactures precision helical gears, which differ from spur gears by having teeth cut at an angle to the shaft, creating a wider contact area for greater strength and torque. Berg’s AGMA-quality helical gears are available in pitches from 16 to 64 DP (1.5 to 0.4 MOD), with left‑hand and right‑hand configurations, bore sizes from ⅛” to 5/16”, and up to 160 teeth.
Manufactured in aluminum or stainless steel, they feature standard pressure angles of 20° and helix angles of 45°, offering durable and versatile solutions for high‑performance applications.
